It is one of the citys landmarks along with Hosteria del Estudiante, in the former Minor School of San Jeronimo, founded by Cardinal Cisneros in 1510 and overlooking the beautiful Patio Trilingue at the University of Alcala de Henares. These monuments form a complex that was designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage site.
