It is also within easy reach of the main railway station, other public transport and all major attractions. ARRIVAL From Airport: Take S-Bahn S2 or S3 from Stuttgart Airport (Flughafen) to Stuttgart Central Station (Hauptbahnhof).The departure gate at the airport is situated at level 1 of Terminal 1. Journey time between Stuttgart Central Station and Stuttgart Airport is 27 minutes. From 04:55 weekdays (or 5:25 Sundays and holidays) to 0:25 S-Bahn trains run from Central Station every 10 or 20 minutes. Trains run from the airport to Central Station between 5:08 (or 5:48 Sundays and holidays) and 0:08. By taxi: Journey time around 25 minutes. You can get to the airport by taxi round the clock. The taxi-rank is conveniently located in front of Terminal 1, level 3 (Departure level). The hotel is within easy walking distance of the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof), where many railway lines meet: S-Bahn lines S1 to S6, U-Bahn lines U5, U6, U7, U9, U14 and U15. From the station, follow signposts to the Planetarium. After a short walk through Schlossgarten park, you will find Le Meridien Stuttgart opposite the Planetarium. ENVIRONMENTAL BADGE obligatory for the green zone ´Stuttgart´ Since 2008 an environmental badge for cars in the green zones of German cities is obligatory. From March 1, 2008 onwards, all cars, passing through the center of Stuttgart, will need an environmental badge. This is also required for foreigners.
